Alison Van Dyke
Alison Van Dyke is a community leader and advocate with over 15 years of experience advancing equity, affordability, and economic dignity across Alberta. In addition to her role as Coordinator with the Alberta Living Wage Network, she also serves as Food Security Coordinator with Community Food Connections Association in Medicine Hat, where she leads programs, partnerships, and public education initiatives focused on reducing food insecurity and strengthening community resilience.
Alison has a strong background in systems-level advocacy and public engagement, including her earlier work as a Community Mobilizer with Public Interest Alberta, where she supported living wage campaigns and broader social policy initiatives.
She also served as a City Councillor for Medicine Hat from 2021 to 2025, contributing to strategic planning, policy development, and community well being initiatives.
Alison brings a collaborative, evidence-based approach to her work, with a focus on building partnerships and advancing solutions that support thriving, inclusive communities.
